Official Rules
Entrants should read this document in its entirety.
Be sure to sufficiently familiarize yourself with these rules prior to submitting your trip plan to the “USIO Design Projec #02 Trip Design Contest” design competition organized by Ishigaki City (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”).You will be deemed to have agreed to the content of these rules upon submitting an application for the Project.
EligibilityPersons eligible to take part in the Project are limited to those who satisfy conditions A – F below.

*Creative CommonsCreative Commons are copyright rules for the Internet age which allow the author his or herself to flexibly set the range of rights for their copyrighted work. The promotion of the use of Creative Commons licenses allows creators to be able to publish their work online with confidence, and also allows users to share the work of creators without violating the intent of the creator; benefits such as these will lead to creativity propagating and developing around the world.
Submission Method
Submissions need to be made in accordance with the submission method stated on the Project’s competition page found on the “awrd.com” portfolio site. For further details please visit the competition page
Prohibited Matters
Entries are limited to concept sheets created and completed by the entrant. If your entry includes copyrighted material of a third party (art, photographs, fonts, etc.), be sure to indicate the source, etc., and to obtain permission to use the materials from the copyright holder. Submissions which violate the rights of a third party will be disqualified upon the discovery of a violation. In addition, in the event a claim is made by a third party that a project entry violates their rights or for compensation for damages, etc., the organizer and operator will not accept any responsibility.・All acts which infringe the laws of Japan or international law are prohibited. All acts which cause physical or mental damage to a third party, which defame a third party, or which infringe on the rights of a third party are prohibited. In addition, all acts which are contrary to public order and morals are prohibited.
Copyright
・The copyright of submissions (including the rights to advertise and publish the submission) shall be attributable to the entrant. In addition, use may be licensed to a third party within the scope approved in the aforementioned Creative Commons License. The entrant shall also recognize that the organizer or Loftwork Co., Ltd. may copy, process and publish the submission for promotion purposes without obtaining the approval of the entrant, and that they will not be required to pay any financial consideration to the entrant for such activities.
Announcement of the Results
Entrants whose submissions have been selected will be notified by email by the end of January 2015.The selected submissions will also be announced on the [[[USIO Design Project]]] and awrd.com websites.
Regarding the Handling of Personal Information
Entrants shall agree that personal information may be shared between the organizer and Loftwork Co., Ltd.
Disclaimer
・Entries which do not follow the submission method and specifications prescribed in the entry guidelines shall not be examined.・There may be cases where no submissions are selected if the examination reveals that none are worthy of a prize.・We will be unable to reply to any queries from entrants concerning the status of the examination and the results.・In the event that a winning entrant does not respond to the notification email of this by the set date and it is determined that the trip plan cannot be conducted, the selection may be invalidated.・There may be cases where, after the awarding of a submission, events arise which make the performance of the trip plan difficult to achieve, and this may result in changes being made to parts of the trip or to the postponement of the trip.
