I decided to go with a whistle, I did some research and found out that people rarely kept a whistle, or any other signal generators, with them. Because they thought that it was unnecessary and they could be made fun of if other people knew that they had been carrying whistle with them all along. So I came up with the idea of tweaking a whistle into something they carried with them all the time. The first thing that popped up into my mind was “buddha necklace”. Thai people usually wear the buddha necklace. What if this amulet can become a whistle when people need it? This will solve the problem. They will be carrying whistle with them everyday without being noticed. And they can use it whenever they need to. This is actually tied back to Thai culture, which most people believe in Buddha or the divines. Many people have faith in the power of divines that it would protect them from any harm. With this “Khun-Pra-Chuay” product, people will literally be protected by buddha or divines they hold around their necks.
