The work takes the form of a single line of javascript, a programming language which is executable in any modern browser, and instructions for activating the work on any web page. When activated, the script uses the existing elements of the page to create a new, chance-based and dynamic artwork, which simultaneously reveals the underlying structure of the webpage, as well as the underlying infrastructure - and thus power dynamics - of the web itself. By tweaking the script in simple ways, the user can change the outcome of the artwork, and also receives a basic lesson in how to create such works themselves.
