One of my professors told me that his ten-year-old son is chatting with other little friends on the internet every day, typing and sending Emojis during the Covid-19 quarantine. It made him wonder that the next generation might get too used to online communication and might not know how to make an appropriate facial expression when facing real human beings. Poker Face is an experiment and allows us to explore the possibilities. We can imagine the future devices and situations that require us to control our facial expressions in face-to-face, daily communication.
