Please describe the concept of your artwork in 1000 words.
As an Iranian painter and at the same time being a woman, living for almost more than a quarter of century in a society full of social contrasts in all aspects, I have been always trying to reach to a kind of balance between my local society and the way I feel as woman.
Living for many years in my complicated society, seeing too many women living under so many strange mainly oriented set of rules and covering the identity of woman by the laws of tradition was among my concerns all the time. So I decided to make a statement by my works against what I am observing for many years. -
