We decided to take from university student users (from 18 to 26), those who, due to time, anxiety, stress and the conditions given at this time, must face being for hours in front of the light transmitted by devices such as cell phones, computers, tablets, etc.
In addition, these types of students, due to the time they dedicate to their studies, leave the care of the face in the background, for this reason Mapping aims to be an accompaniment in the time or spaces that the user decides to dedicate to their skin daily, adjusting the routines and care accordingly.
For that reason, we want to be a daily reminder of the given routine and to let you know that for Mapping Face the care and condition of the skin is important. -

Currently there are various aspects that affect the state of skin in college students such as student stress, blue screens and tobacco.
Within student stress are stressful situations causing the body to
produce hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol, these produce hormonal imbalances and weaken the immune system, it is currently stated that between 50 and 80% of acne patients admit that stress makes it worse.
Consequently, research conducted by the University Dermatology Clinic at Stanford University School of Medicine reveals a pathogenic (i.e. disease-causing) correlation between chronic stress and stress.
worsening acne
For this reason today there are activities for stress reduction such as relaxation techniques, sports and a healthy diet.
Another of these factors mentioned above is the damage caused by the screens, when
being a student exposed most of their time either by a computer
or by a cell phone, for some it is a stimulant while “Blue light damages
the retina and reduces the release of melatonin, so interrupt your cycle of
sleepy, ”said Michelle Henry, a New York dermatologist.
Also, exposure to blue light is more of a problem for dark complexions. In a study
of 2010 published in The Journal of Investigative Dermatology, was shown to cause hyper pigmentation in medium to dark skin tones, while leaving the lighter complexion relatively intact. This makes the light and the screens bring negative effects
such as altering the rhythm of sleep, causing oxidative stress effects
ocular, such as cataracts etc.
For this reason we decided to take university student users (from 18 to 26), those who due to time, anxiety, stress and the conditions given at this time, must face being for hours in front of the light transmitted by the devices such as cell phones, computers, tablets, etc.
In addition, these types of students, due to the time they dedicate to their studies, leave face care in the background, for this reason Mapping aims to be an accompaniment in the minutes that the user decides to dedicate to their skin daily and adjust the routines and care according to this.
On the other hand, it will also be a daily reminder of the given routine and the importance of your skin, in this way we want to develop a device and an application that provides information, tips, routines and other tools to improve the condition of your skin.
Having previously explained our problem and specific user with whom we are going to work, our main objective as a group is linked to image recognition and facial tracking to achieve digital analysis overlays for the user and therefore versatility at the time of perform different functions.
Keeping the objectives clear, we emphasize the concept of Mapping face that is linked to the autonomy of the user when using the device and versatility when using the device and the proposed system, emphasizing the beauty of imperfection, where self-love and self-care are enhanced.
Therefore, this is where we want to involve the concept of haptic and the system of without physical contact, through the system without physical contact a touch code will be implemented, being a perfect solution for access control at the time of knowing the specifications of the mirror, features, warnings and more. Through the haptic, realistic sensations will be transferred at the moment the application generates an analysis, the user observes from the mirror the mapping of the areas of good condition or affectation of their skin.
Through an investigation and search for references about what treatments currently exist for skin care, we found 3 methods of technologies which are:
1. "Trial" applications, augmented reality (AR) to enhance the experience, image recognition and facial tracking.
2. Smart Skin Care Tools the program takes a photo of your face every time you log in and scans it for wrinkles, red spots, pores, fine lines and brightness levels.
3. Light treatments, a light source projected on the area where there are brown spots attenuates them with continued use.
The research takes a north and direction towards smart skin care tools, which led us to unite two concepts, the first of which is mapping the face (referring to graphically locating the relative distribution of the parts of the face where they are found deficiencies) and on the other hand, through the device we want to generate closeness with the user, where Mapping is an artificial intelligence with the function of being your assistant, where it listens to you and answers questions.
To conclude, mapping face makes a recognition of all the parts of the face but doing a mapping or analysis sequentially, kind of like the path that is traveled to analyze a map. In this it shows sequentially what is the analysis of each part, what state it is in, the zoom and the possible care. -

The face mapping will average approximately 28 cm high and 32 cm high; The materials that we want to apply to the mapping face device will be the following: for the edges and the base of the screens will be polished aluminum, it will have an embedded LED luminaire around it to provide the mirror with greater visibility of the skin analysis process, on the screen central will have a built-in camera, the assemblies and joints will be in ABS.
Finally de panels onf the mapping face mirror are raised in a material of an oxide based electrochromic tungsten layer. -

Currently it is important that there are roles within a team
to be able to develop a project, in this way the overload is reduced
within it, clear functions are maintained within the
I work fully and more easily carrying out a project.
In this way, Mappping face aiming to locate
graphically the distribution of the parts of the face where they are
deficiencies and in this way generate possible facial self-care solutions.
On the other hand, the Mapping Face group is identified by
three aspects, the first is the importance it gives to the skin and the
interactive analysis that you want to offer the user, the second is the
facial mapping tool being interactive through intelligence
artificial and last but not least image recognition and
facial tracing to achieve digital analysis overlays for the
user.
In this way, each member of the group has developed a
work within the team to be able to consider these aspects and objectives fulfilled
of the project -
参加メンバー
Daniela Rolon - Communicator
By carrying out the project, the role of
communicator has the ability to present them clearly, communicating the
purpose, all the characteristics that reinforce the project and the
experience that the user is intended to live.
All this Daniela develops frequently through
graphics, illustrations and images that achieve the interpretation of the project of
a simpler and clearer way. Finally, through the feedback that
offers, manages to answer the doubts presented to exhibitors and seeks
the way to solve the faults or problems that are inside
of the project.
Angie Galvis - Researcher
To develop a project it is important to be clear about the
research bases to support a project, consequently, the function
of the researcher has the characteristic of being an observer with the information
investigated and the results obtained from it in order to question what
raised in the project.
To articulate lines of research and processes of
work in relation to the group and its projects, mood boards of
references related to the project, contrast of investigated information and
tables that bring together the research to link it to the project.
Therefore Angie manages to guide the training
research in the respective project so that there is articulation with the
research in the strict sense and the research results are made visible
in the project.
Natalia Cruz- Programmer
She is in charge of everything that has to do with programs
and software for the realization of the project experience and interface, the
The objective is to create the content within the device and generate a good
understanding of use for the user. In fact Natalia has knowledge
about the different tools in these softwares to be able to answer
successfully to different challenges and
program proposals.
Finally the team is formed with the conviction that the
proposed goals can be achieved by putting knowledge into play,
capacities, abilities, information and, in general, the competences, of the
different people who make up Mapping Face. -
