The project EX ANIMO (lat. from the soul, sincerely) aims to support creativity, self-expression and encourage individuals to take a part in a collective experience.
The purpose is to create a virtual space for mutual connection in opposition to modern isolation.
It is a new take on the analogue method "exquisite corpse", that allows collaborators add images in sequence while allowing them to see the only end of the previous image - replaced by mark lines in templates.
The method has the potential to encourage uncomfortable conversations and feelings, and can also serve a therapeutical purpose.
The interaction is seemingly contactless, yet supports the idea of connection.
The viewer is invited to contribute his expressions, that would become a part of bigger work - animated collage.
It is a project dedicated to anyone.

I created the concept of Ex Animo and produced visual content: artwork, animation, video. The web design along with its small database and submission layout was created by me via WIX platform.
The viewer is allowed to contribute and submit pictures that would fit the required dimensions: single-segment 640 x 1080 pixels (min, 150dpi). Each segment is a 1/3 part of the chosen video format of a final animated display.
The specification of the chosen format: resolution 1080x1920 pixels, HD, container MPEG-4 (mp4), H.264 encoded.
