I am feeling blue.... and red

" I am feeling blue... and red" (2016) is a wearable device in the form of a glove that translates colors into vibration patterns along the forearm. The color vibrates on the skin through the enhancement of the haptic perception via a color sensor embedded on the fingers that control the vibrations.

The design of the fingers is modified to establish another relation and deconstruct the way we use to touch. The sensation of strangeness that demands a focus, a concentration towards the region where the sensor is located.

The wearable device was developed during the Art and Science Residency Alt+, initiated by the Medialab/UFG.
