Voxel Chair V1.0
Nagami Design is a young startup focused on design and 3D printing, trying to innovate day by day about designing, forms, and fabricating. We have developed a new system that allow us not only to use robots for creating awesome designs with 3D printing but also to research about new possibilities and applications in digital fabrication.
We have create some cool examples produced with digital fabrication and specially 3D printing, in order to change the way we develope a product, from the first drawings to the production of the final object.
In this line the best example in our work is the Voxel Chair V1.0, a first prototype designed using a new design softwae specifically developed for robotic 3D printing.
This awesome object nowadays it is only possible to come true in the way it has been made, and shows the promising possibilities that researching and digital fabrication can bring us not only in the future but also in the present.
Voxel Chair V1.0, designed by Manuel Jiménez García and Gilles Retsin, was part of the exhibition "Imprimer Le Monde" at Centre Pompidou in Paris, and now is part of its permanent collection.
