Brief concept description of the submitted project/idea
Introducing the Pebble – a revolutionary compact dining toolkit from OTHERWARE
Produced by Pentatonic in partnership with i am OTHER, the creative collective assembled by Pharrell Williams, the Pebble by OTHERWARE is a personal cutlery kit that eliminates the need for single-use eating utensils. Just clip on your Pebble, and you’re ready for sustainable eating. Complete with knife, fork, spoon, chopsticks, and a straw, Pebble equips you to enjoy food truck pad thai, a salad in the park, or an iced coffee at your desk.
The Pebble’s case is ‘made from music’ using recycled CDs, handles from recycled food packaging, and tips from anodised, titanium-coated steel, lending the product its uniquely coloured tool heads. While your Pebble is designed to last a thousand meals or more, it too can be added to your local recycling bin. Or better yet, trade the Pebble back to us so we can repurpose the material and make new things.
