Brief concept description of the submitted project/idea
「The river is cemented and the ecology disappeared.」
The lack of concealed space in the river makes it impossible for living fish to survive, and the excessively flat cement cutting causes the channelization of the river and the simplification of the habitat environment, which reduces the habitat and survival opportunities of fish, and can only provide a small part of the fish habitat, which also causes beautification but the ecological imbalance.
Take the renovation of the Liulu River in Taichung as an example. It only considers "how to make people water-loving" but does not consider how to restore the biodiversity of the river. The imitation will result in a large number of similar man-made landscapes in rivers across the country. From an "ecological" point of view, Yanagawa and Luchuan are still lacking after the transformation"River Vitality." The ugly and sad Liuchuan and Luchuan have been treated as pure flood and sewage channels for a long time, even after the renovation, they have become clean and drifting. It was bright, and successfully brought people into the crowd, but it also ignored the vitality that Hechuan really needed. -

Detailed description of the submitted project/idea
The main material of the river rehabilitation system we designed is environmentally friendly ceramics made of white clay, combined with mature 3D printing technology. The ingredients in the white clay are not only harmless to the ocean and rivers, but also in recent years, many artificial The first choice for the reef material is clay, and the overall design is divided into two layers.
The upper level has:
1. Rehabilitation basin: mainly cultivate floating-leaf plants aquatic plants (water lilies, Taiwan pineapple, etc.), aquatic plants can not only absorb carbon in the river, but also provide fish with sufficient oxygen and nutrients.
2. Modular buoy : The main function of the hexagonal buoy is to support the whole regenerating basin. Because the overall structure is hollow, it has enough buoyancy to support the potted plants, and it can also change with the water level of the river. The hexagonal shape also makes the assembly more modular.
3. Tenon : This tenon is a tenon for each buoy to buckle each other
4. Screws : 2 screws are equipped in each tenon to fix the frame
5. Steel nails : Each rehabilitation system will be equipped with two 3 cm diameter steel nails to connect with the river wall.
The lower layer has:
6. Bionic habitat space: Through research, we found that fish like to live in cracks similar to stones, so we designed a structure that mimics a coral reef, which has many holes of different sizes. In addition to being a shelter for fish, it also allows river water to be natural of flowing inside.
7. Imitated skeleton support structure: increase the strength of the bionic habitat space and make it more stable in the water.
8. Connecting rod: This structure is used to connect the upper basin and the lower bionic space.
The overall river rehabilitation system has a service life of two years. After two years, the next batch of replacements will be required. Because our materials are all red clay, and the clay itself can be naturally decomposed, we will use the lower habitation space. Placed at the bottom of the river channel for natural decomposition, and the decomposed material will also help the river channel to accumulate natural nutrients. -
