Pneuma means breath, wind, air or the breath of the Great One in ancient Greek.
Living creatures creates breath and creates wind.
Every breath created by living creatures since time immemorial contains old stories and memories, and is a cycle that repeats itself.
It felt as if it were a letter of memory spun from the past to the future through the organism.
The work is composed of washi, a traditional material deeply rooted in Japanese culture with a 1400-year history, and the objects are formed in a modular structure without the use of glue, thread or needles.
The work can therefore be deconstructed and reconstructed, and like an atmosphere it envelops any space, shaping it to suit its location and generating a narrative.

「PUNEUMA」
プネウマとは、古代ギリシア語で気息、風、空気、大いなるものの息を意味する。
いきものとは息つくるもの、風をおこすものである。
太古からいきものがつくった息すべてには古い物語や記憶が含まれており、循環を繰り返している。
それはまるで過去から未来へ、生物通して紡がれる記憶の手紙のようであると感じた。
日本文化に深く根付いた伝統的素材である和紙で構成されたこの作品はモジュール構造を用いて接着剤や糸や針を使わずにオブジェクトを形成している。
そのため、この作品は分解・再構築が可能であり、まるで大気のようにいかなる空間をも包み、その場所に合わせて形を形成し、物語を発生させてゆく。
