Ice is water frozen into a solid state.
It can appear transparent or opaque bluish-white color, depending on the presence of impurities or air inclusions.
Ice appears naturally in forms of snowflakes, hail, and polar ice caps.
It is an important component of the global climate and plays an important role in the water cycle.
I want to remind global warming and melting of the ice caps through "Ice" LED light.
Everytime you turn on the light, you are a part of that global warming.

DESIGN
"Ice" is a transparent square shape with bumps on its surface and imperfections inside the volume.
"Ice" could be a solid or an hollow shape depending the weight of it.
When the light is on, "Ice" design shows imperfections with light refraction inside the ice cube.
"Ice" shape is freeze but seems to live through those light reflections.
It looks like ice has appeared naturally on the light bulb like water accumulation on ice stalactites.
PROCESS
With the 3D printing process we are able to create anykind of complicated structure without process constraints.
In my opinion, it is essential to come up with a shape that you can not realise with traditional processes like injection or thermoforming.
Therefore, it would be a pity not to leverage this new technology to investigate into new product shape and structure.
ENVIRONMENT
The location of "Ice" would be suitable in your home or in public architectures.
It could be used on a bathroom or on a living room ceiling.
"Ice" can be placed on a flat surface too thanks to its square shape like on a bedside table.
MATERIAL
A clear material would be the most appropriate to fit the ice cube transparency.
It would be great to add air bubble imperfections to increase light reflection inside the light bulb cover.
