To Sphere with love

Originally I wanted to re-create the world but after much deliberation I realized I set my hat too high so I twiddled it down to creating a cut out of Japan in its exactly location or similar on the world map however again I set my hat to high so I then went about creating a day and night effect with just the outline of Japan. I tried cutting to no success, engraving was my last resort proved to be a pleasant surprise. Sourcing Black and White card I did multiple trials to finally create my ‘Retro’ Spinning Top.
