Go! Grab Green with 5G (greet heart, green mind, greet space, green city, and green economy) is an online and offline platform for creating more green spaces in Bangkok.
5G combines the efforts and resources of land owners, gamers, and green investors by connecting them via a phone app game. By combining the resources of each party, abandoned spaces in Bangkok can build value through community efforts leading to an increase in green spaces.
One way the app can be used is that gamers select an underdeveloped non-green space in Bangkok and design their ideal green space in the virtual app. If the land owners agrees to the plan, volunteers can come in to transform the underutilized space into a green space.
