USIO DESIGN PROJECT Entry Agreement

Applicants must read all of the following:

Please read these Terms carefully before submitting your work to the “USIO Design Project” (hereinafter referred to as “the Project”), which is a public offering for design sponsored by Ishigaki City (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”). By submitting your work to this project, you are deemed to have agreed to the terms of this Agreement.

Qualification requirements

Applicants for this project must be those who meet the following conditions A) to F). A) Individuals, organizations or corporations who have applied for account registration after agreeing to the terms of use of Loftwork.com (http://www.awrd.com). B) Those who can correspond to this production when adopted. (Scheduled production period: mid-December 2013 to late March 2014) C) Those who understand the purpose of USIO Design Project and are willing to support its activities. D) Those who have set the following Creative Commons license for the submitted work. `` Display-Non-Profit-No Derivative Works 2.1 Japan '' http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.1/jp/

* Creative Commons is a new copyright idea that allows the author to flexibly set the scope of rights to a work. Also, by using the Creative Commons license, it is possible to flexibly set the scope of copyright for copyrighted work and display the license on the Internet. Increased use of Creative Commons licenses will stimulate the spread of creatives on the Internet and will drive the development of creatives around the world.

Application method

This application must be submitted in accordance with the application method posted on the special page of this project in the portfolio site “Loftwork.com”. Please see the application page for details.

Prohibited matter

Entries must be created and completed independently. If you use materials (art, photos, fonts, etc.) created by third parties for your entry, you must always obtain the license from yourself. Works that violate the rights of third parties will be excluded from the selection process when discovered. In addition, even if a third party asserts infringement of rights or compensation for damages to the submitted works, the organizer and the operator cannot be held responsible.

About copyright

・ The copyright of the submitted work (including the right to advertise and publicize the adopted work) belongs to the applicant. In addition, the use of third parties will be permitted to the extent permitted by the above Creative Commons License. In addition, the applicant is requested that the organizer or Loftwork Co., Ltd. copy, process, and publish the design data for public relations without obtaining permission from the author, and will not pay any compensation for such acts. You acknowledge.・ The organizer reserves the right to commercialize the works adopted in this project. The sales contract with the manufacturer and distributor for commercialization shall be made by the organizer under the commission of the applicant.・ Applicants shall not have the right to secondary use of the work adopted by this project. The organizer reserves the right to cancel recruitment in case of secondary use after the work is decided.

Result announcement

The results of the selection will be notified by e-mail to the applicants by the end of December 2013. In addition, we will announce the adopted works on the USIO Design Project and Loftwork.com website.

Handling of personal information

The employer authorizes the sharing of personal information between the organizer, Loftwork Co., Ltd. and product manufacturers.

Disclaimer

-Works that do not comply with the application method and specifications specified in the application guidelines will be excluded from the screening.・ As a result of the examination, if there is no work that is suitable for commercialization, there may be no applicable works.・ We will not be able to respond to any inquiries regarding the screening status or results from applicants.・ No royalty will be paid to the applicant for the products created by the recruited works.・ Even if a winner is selected, design specifications may be changed or development may be suspended due to the technical limitations of the company or business judgment.
