Post-selection Process
The selected winners will be asked to visit Ishigaki Island, tweak their designs after talks with the local manufacturers, and be involved in the entire process until products are ready for sale. The redesigned products will be introduced at various locations on and off the island as local specialty products from Ishigaki Island transformed through the USIO Design Project.
The design process including production and completion of the finished product will be as follows: (Those selected will be required to participate in the blue sections.)
1.Visit manufacturers in Ishigaki City
2.Sample production
3. Compile and deliver all data for final production
Creators will be required to add and arrange required product information that appears on the label/packaging and to prepare proof data in the specified layout.
4. 4. Adjust and confirm color proof with printing company
*Transport and accommodation (up to a fixed amount) on Ishigaki Island will be covered by the host. **The host and Loftwork Inc. will coordinate the commercialization of products created from the winning designs.
