We are so overprotected that what we cannot see we cannot see, what we cannot hear we cannot hear. There may be no other creature so favored by God as man. Even if we sometimes rebel, we are always defeated and forgiven in the end.

見えないものは見えないように、聞こえないものは聞こえないように、過保護なまでに守られている。これほど神の寵愛を受けた生物は人間以外に存在しないかもしれません。時に反抗しても必ず敗れ、最後は赦されるのです。
