ComoNe Program #03
in TOUCH — Within Tangible Range

In an era where a single fingertip allows us to purchase items, travel to unknown lands, and view the entire world, we have become accustomed to understanding many things without ever physically touching them.

An individual's experience summarized and integrated by AI.
Emotions and bodies processed as data.
Distant events observed entirely through a screen.

Within this optimized environment, the world is presented to us as something efficiently packaged and easily comprehensible.
On the flip side, however, the physical texture of the real world, the moments of hesitation, and the time required for true verification may be slipping away.

Under this theme, we are seeking artworks and projects that reimagine and recontextualize the world through the act of "touching."

Stepping outside barefoot to feel the grass underfoot.
Reaching out a hand to acknowledge another's tears or body heat.
Journeying to unfamiliar worlds to feel the air on one's skin.

By reconnecting with the world through touch, we may discover unexpected misalignments or awaken new sensibilities.
Perhaps there is a world that can only be revealed when we actively try to touch and verify it for ourselves.

Let us close our screens and step out to discover it with our own hands.
